Napoleon Pirates defeated Springport Wednesday night; 25-19, 26-28, 25-14, 25-21. Leading the Pirates were Momo Hampton with 11 service points, 5 aces, 29 assists and 6 digs.  Sam Conaway led with 11 kills and Emme VanPoppel contributed 10 kills.  Kelsea Bradley and Ella Stage both contributed 7 service points with 100% service percentage.

SOCCER

The Warriors of Grass Lake posted a convincing 4-2 win over Manchester on Wednesday evening for their home opener at Stoker Field. After giving up an early goal, Grass Lake scored 3 unanswered goals and never looked back. Henry Black had two goals, while Dylan Griffor and Gus Vitale each added one. Senior Wesley Good had two assists while Griffor assisted the fourth goal to Vitale. Jack Eastersay came up with a couple huge saves in goal to secure the win. The Warriors will be back in action on Tuesday to take on Division 4 power Plymouth Christian at Stoker Field in Grass Lake.
