Michigan Center scored 17 goals in a matchup with first-year program Napoleon Wednesday. Napoleon scored their second goal of the season on a direct kick in the second half.
Michigan Center goals were scored by Lydia Meyer 4, Cecelia Scaife 3, Julia Reynolds 2, Kaylee Johnson 2, Ayla Marr 2, Mady Hatler 2, Sophia Allen 1, Lela Horstman 1.
PREP SOFTBALL
Napoleon took two from the Panthers Wednesday, 7-3 and 6-5.
Addison out-hit Napoleon 10-8 in Game 2, but the Pirates broke the tie game with a hit in the sixth.
Alisha Gahn, who had 10 strikeouts in Game 1, went 3-for-4 at the plate for Addison. Mae Patterson, had two hits, including a home run in Game 2.
Addison is 13-8 on the season and 4-6 in the Cascades Conference.
East Jackson swept Vandercook Lake Wednesday, 19-2, 20-7.
Savanna Curey was the winning pitcher in the first game. East Jackson had 11 hits. Boatright and Kerley had multiple hits. Baxter was 3-for-3 from the plate. Bell led the way on stolen bases with 3. Mapes also added to the multiple hits.
Bell took the win for East Jackson in Game 2.
East Jackson had 12 hits and 14 stolen bases. Kerley had her first home run of the season. Worthing, Gettings, McGuinness, and Bell each had multiple hits. Worthing led the way 3 for 3 from the plate. Uyttenhove had 3 stolen bases.
Mapes did an outstanding job catching both games for East Jackson.
