DISTRICT VOLLEYBALL

The Warriors traveled to East Jackson to take on Michigan Center. They teams battled back and forth into five sets (25-20,26-24,21-25,20-25) but the Warriors shut them down 15-5 in the fifth set. Olivia Turner was big at the service line serving 27-for-30 with nine aces and 22 points. Turner had 13 kills and led with 21 digs. Layne Terry followed with 18 digs. Ruby Johnson led with 16 kills while Jasmine Carr had 12. Carr was 17-for-18 serving with 12 service points. Cheyenne Mosher led with 22 assists while Catherine Cottle had 13. The Warriors advance to the District Finals at East Jackson vs Napoleon at 6:00pm.
