The Grass Lake Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Addison to take on the Panthers. The Warriors were working out their kinks with being down a few key players in the first set and lost 8-25. Moving on to the second set the came out strong and won 25-7. They kept the ball rolling and won second set 25-21 and the third 25-16. Junior, Samantha Caldwell and freshman, Bree Salts stepped up to plate filling the setter positions that were out. Caldwell had 15 assists while Salts had 11. Senior, Jasmine Carr was big at the net with 10 kills and four blocks. Abby Buttigieg had 30 digs and was huge at their service like serving 15-for-17 with 12 points and three aces. Olivia Turner added 23 digs. Tuner served 16-for-18 with seven points and six aces. The Warriors travel to Lenawee Christian to take on the host as well as Athens Thursday. |
