Grass Lake’s Varsity volleyball traveled to Hanover Horton and lost in three sets (14-25,23-25,19-25). Abby Buttigieg led with 14 digs while Cheyenne Mosher and Olivia Turner followed with both digging up 13 balls each. Buttigieg served 11-for-11 with six points and Turner went 11-for-13 with seven points. The Warriors travel to Concord Thursday to face off with both Concord and Hillsdale Academy.

VOLLEYBALL

The Napoleon JV and Varsity volleyball teams swept the Vandercook Lake Jayhawks tonight 3-0.  The Varsity sets were 25-14, 25-11, 25-18.  Leading the Pirates was Momo Hampton with 22 assists.  Alyssa Budd had 11 kills while Sam Conaway added 7kills.  Momo Hampton and Alyssa Budd had four aces each while Sam Conaway, Kaitlyn Pequet and Alyssa Budd served 11 service points a piece.  Elisse Omey and Emme VanPoppel each contributed 3 blocks and Kaitlyn Pequet had 11 defensive digs.  The Pirates are 10-8-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference.  —
