Grass Lake Warrior Soccer continued with its recording breaking season with another balanced offensive attack in a 8-0 win over conference foe Quincy. 7 different goal scorers included Gus Vitale, Zander Stormont, Jacob Colesa, Cole Keneaw, Henry Black, Wesley Good, and Dylan Griffor added two. Assists were also spread out with Good, Vitale, Black, Colesa, and Connor Million. Wesley Good broke the school record for career goals with his goal tonight, totaling 37 over the last 4 years, surpassing his brother Louis Good. Jack Easterday and his defense earned a 6th shutout of the season, a single season record.
The Grass Lake Varsity Volleyball hosted Springport for their Senior Night. Seniors, Piper Tipton, Leah Allen, Ruby Johnson, Catherine Cottle, and Jasmine Carr all took the court in set one with Junior Abby Buttigieg to take on Springport. The Seniors were able to play the entire first set without their normal substitutions and playing out of their comfort zones. The group held their composure and were able to shine and take set one 25-23. Mixing it up in set two the team kept the ball rolling and won 25-20. The Warriors were able to take set three 25-13 to close out the night. Catherine Cottle led with 16 assists and was 12-for-12 serving with four aces and ten points. Ruby Johnson led with 11 kills. Jasmine Carr had six kills and three blocks. Leah Allen had 13 digs while Piper Tipton had five. Olivia Turner had six kills and 13 digs. Abby Buttigieg had 11 digs and was 19-for-20 serving with 16 points. The Warriors are back Saturday for their home tournament.
