SOCCER

Grass Lake hosted a Hillsdale soccer team that was undefeated and number 2 in the state on MPR rating in Division 3. Grass Lake had a goal in each half en route to a 2-0 victory. Dylan Griffor opened up the scoring in the first half assisted by Wesley Good. Then Good followed up with a goal of his own to put the game away late in the game. Jack Easterday posted a shut out once again with help from a stellar defensive performance, led by man of the match Zeke Dubiel. Grass Lake will host Durand 10am Saturday at Stoker field.

Michigan Center won at Leslie 8-0. Alex Hunt and Reid Scaife both scored twice. Captains Nikolas Kosmet and Carter Kosmet each had a goal and an assist. Jaiden Tilford and Daylen Hinkle scored the final goals to finish the game. Michael Van Riper recorded the shutout in goal. 

VOLLEYBALL

The Lady Warriors came out full of energy and eager to get their first win in their home gym. The took all three sets from North Adams (25-20,25-12,25-9). Leading the Warriors for the night was Sophomore Olivia Turner. Turner was 17-for-19 serving with 15 service points and ten aces. She also had a team high of 12 digs. Freshman, Mia Buttigieg was perfect at the service line going 13-for-14 with nine points and four aces. Older sister, Abby had ten digs and was also perfect serving 11-for-11 with seven points and two aces. Ruby Johnson led the team with nine kills while Jasmine Carr followed behind with eight. Catherine Cottle and and Cheyenne Mosher had a combined total of 27 assists. Once again the Warriors had an all around great night as a team. They are back in action Tuesday night at Manchester!
