Addison swept Pittsford 15-0, 10-0.
In Game 1, Addison puts up 15 runs in 3 innings and Isabelle Patterson earned a shutout.
All of Addison Softball runs came in the first inning. Mae Patterson, Wheaton and Wright led the team with two hits each. Isabelle Patterson struck out 5 in three innings Mae Patterson and Wright both had doubles and Speelman recorded a triple.
Alisha Gahn shut down Pittsford in the second game, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Addison Softball to a 10-0 victory on Monday.
Addison Softball opened up scoring in the first inning. Mae Patterson doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Addison Softball put up three runs in the fourth inning. Addison Softball put the pressure on, lead by an error on a ball put in play by Olivia Speelman and a double by Gahn.
Gahn earned the victory on the rubber for Addison Softball. Gahn surrendered zero runs on four hits over five innings, striking out eight and walking zero.
Addison collected 10 hits. Kahlen Wheaton and Patterson all collected multiple hits for Addison Softball. Wheaton went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Addison Softball in hits. Addison Softball didn’t commit a single error in the field.
Addison improves to 11-4 and will host Vandercook Lake Wednesday.
Grass Lake 11-22, East Jackson 0-0
The Warriors swept Grass Lake Monday.
Mariah Kerley and Bree Baxter had East Jackson’s hits in the first game. Emily Uyttenhove had a double for EJ in the second.
PREP SOCCER
Michigan Center tied Grass Lake 1-1 in soccer Monday. Michigan Center’s Cecelia Scaife scored on a penalty kick drawn by Lydia Meyer. Grass Lake scored late in the second half on a long shot to tie the game. Abbie Hess had 16 saves in net for MC.
