Addison Softball Grabs Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity
Addison Softball snatched the lead late in the game in an 8-6 victory over Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity on Wednesday. The game was tied at five with Addison Softball batting in the top of the sixth when Liv Luckhardt’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Addison Softball.
There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Addison Softball collected ten hits and Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity had 11.
Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity captured the lead in the second inning when Peyton Fether tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity tied things up at five when Audrey Rentfro singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Isabelle Patterson pitched Addison Softball to victory. Patterson allowed 11 hits and six runs over seven innings, striking out 14.
Luckhardt toed the rubber for Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity. Luckhardt went seven innings, allowing eight runs on ten hits and striking out five.
Addison Softball tallied two home runs on the day. Mae Patterson went for the long ball in the first inning. Nevaeh Edison went yard in the third inning.
Addison Softball racked up ten hits. Patterson and Kahlen Wheaton each collected multiple hits for Addison Softball. Wheaton and Patterson each collected two hits to lead Addison Softball. Addison Softball was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Lexi Patterson made the most plays with 15.
Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity tallied 11 hits on the day. Cassidy Reames, Fether, and Anna Amburgey all managed multiple hits for Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity.

Addison Softball Struggles to Find Groove Against Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity
Addison Softball had trouble keeping up with Manchester in a 7-1 loss on Wednesday.
Lady Dutch Varsity scored three runs in the seventh inning and scored its runs on a double by Alexis Sloan.
Audrey Rentfro earned the win for Manchester. Rentfro allowed two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out ten.
Alisha Gahn started the game for Addison Softball. The righthander surrendered seven runs on nine hits over seven innings, striking out 13 and walking zero.
Lexi Patterson and Gahn all had one hit to lead Addison Softball.
Manchester Varsity had nine hits in the game. Cassidy Reames and Peyton Fether all managed multiple hits for Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity. Reames led Manchester Lady Dutch Varsity with three hits in four at bats.
