The Hanover-Horton Comets beat Grass Lake in four sets Tuesday in the Regional semifinal, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 25-19.
The 25-19-1 Comets got 40 assists from Natalee Krage, 16 digs from Becca Uphaus and a career-high nine blocks from Morgan Kuhl. Kuhl added 10 kills. Chelsea Rudd chipped in with 18 kills and two blocks.
“The girls kept focused on the goal and the strategy we prepared for,” Comet head coach Kortney Addleman said. “Our middles were able to block with intention and our defense did not let balls hit the floor.”
