HH 25-12 and 25-18 over North Adams Jerome

The Grass Lake Lady Warriors traveled to Homer High School for a Tri with Homer and Pittsford. Grass Lake defeated Pittsford in two sets (25-18,25-16). They then battled back and fourth with Homer for two very tight sets and taking the win (25-23,26-24). The team really proved their mental toughness and drive to finish. Both Abby Buttigieg and Olivia Turner had 17 digs each. Turner led with 10 kills and was 14-for-19 serving with seven key aces and 14 points. Abby went 14-for-15 serving with eight points. Sister, Mia Buttigieg was also 14-for-15 serving with 10 points. Mia had 19 assists. Adrianna Kline had eight solid kills while Monique Diehl had seven with three blocks. The Warriors travel to Chelsea on Saturday. 

SOCCER:

Michigan Center lost 5-0 at Lenawee Christian on 8/24. Hunter Clemens recorded 13 saves in goal for the Cardinals.
