Hanover-Horton beat Michigan Center 45-44 Tuesday, sinking a pair of free throws with 14.8 seconds left to move in front of the Cardinals for good.

Michigan Center missed the front end of a one-and-one free throw with 2.7 seconds.

The Comets, who got 19 points from Brogan Brockie, improved to 4-0. They have won 43 consecutive Cascades Conference games.

Michigan Center was led by Nikolas Kozmet, who scored 10 points.
