The Warriors came out ready to play in the first set against the Addison Panthers taking the win (25-19). The team got shaken up in the middle of the second set and couldn’t come back losing (13-25). The Warriors didn’t let that set slow them down and came back strong winning (25-15). Grass Lake kept the energy alive and took the fourth and final set (25-22). Abby Buttigieg and Amber Boomer were key players at the service line. Buttigieg went 18-for-20 with seven aces and 13 service points. Boomer was 18-for-22 with 14 service points. Boomer then led the team with 17 digs as well as 11 kills. Buttigieg followed behind with 15 digs. Ruby Johnson, Emily Taylor, Anna Konopka, and Jasmin Carr had a combined total of 32 kills. Carr ended up with four blocks for the night. Amelia Hamlin has 19 assists and Catherine Cottle had 14. The team travels to North Adams for a tri Thursday night.
