WRESTLING

The Addison Panther wrestling squad traveled to Sand Creek early Wednesday afternoon and wrestled in the fourth annual Addison vs. Sand Creek Assembly Dual.

Wrestling in front Sand Creek’s entire high school and middle school student body, Addison would start out in a early 0-12 deficit, but would storm back with 43 unanswered points and in the end take down the Aggies 55-24.

Addison will next travel to Pinckney High School this Saturday (12/21) and partake in the annual “Season’s Beatings” Team Tournament. Wrestling begins at 9:00am.

The varsity wrestling team was competitive in both duals, beating Blissfield 36-33 and losing to Hillsdale 45-36. Going undefeated on the night were Sam Edie, Kaelyn Cushard, Connor Viegelahn, Trenton Holden and Blake Coskie. Going 1-1 were Emily Guthrie, Brock Harms, Ethan Kirklin, and Owen Geobles!

VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL

Grass Lake started the game slow, trailing the Cardinals by six at half time. They came alive in the second half through a total team effort of energy and determination. A 4th quarter run and disciplined play would put the Warriors on top to end the game.

East Jackson 54, Hanover-Horton 34: Livi Talmage scored 11 points and Hannah Elliott 10 for East Jackson. Kenadee Krage scored 9 for the Comets.

Manchester 56, Vandercook Lake 41: Mann and Bradshaw scored 11 points apiece for Manchester.

JV GIRLS BASKETBALL

The JV ladies fought a hard battle tonight against Michigan Center. They trailed at many points through out the game, but never gave up. Key free throws at the end of the game put the lady Warriors on top 47-46.
